- White Blood Cells >150/mm3 with Lymphocyte predominance
- Send fluid for AFB smear and culture
- One liter is preferred to increase Test Sensitivity
- Measures with highest sensitivity and Specificity
- Adenosine deaminase >33 U/L
- Peritoneal biopsy
