Aka: Idiopathic Cyclic Edema, Idiopathic Edema
II. Associated Conditions
III. Epidemiology

IV. Pathophysiology
- No underlying systemic cause
- Related factors

- Orthostatic Edema
- Water retention while upright
- Diuresis while supine
- Body weight increases >2 kg with edema
VII. Differential Diagnosis: Estrogen stimulated edema
- Increased Estrogen with Sodium and water retention
- Cyclic edema related to Menses
- Weight gain on edematous days: 1.5 to 2.5 kg
- Lower extremity Pitting Edema
