- Vitamin D (needs 400 IU/day per AAP as of 2008)
- Vitamin K
- Prevents Hemorrhagic disease of the newborn
- Single 0.5 to 1 mg IM at birth
- Iron
- Iron-fortified foods needed by 6 months of age
- Vitamin B12
- Supplementation if strictly vegetarian mother
- Supplement: 0.3 to 0.5 mcg/day
- Fluoride Supplementation
