II. Pathophysiology
- Antegrade followed by retrograde vessel flow
III. Technique
- Stethoscope bell used to compress femoral artery
- Start off listening, and gradually increase pressure
IV. Interpretation
- Positive sign: 2 murmurs, 1 following another
- Results in to-and-fro sound
V. Etiologies
- Aortic Regurgitation
- Other conditions with high Pulse Pressure
